We are seeking a full-time Surgery Coordinator for our amazing practice located in downtown San Francisco. Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, efficient and reliable, self-driven and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team. You must possess exceptional customer service skills and be caring, courteous and compassionate with our patients.

• Calendaring Surgeries into the Schedule (finding dates on the calendar for surgery and scheduling their preops and post ops)
• Scheduling Surgery information into the Facilities
• Creating preop packets/emails for all surgery patients (consents, rx, etc)
• Scheduling Patient Payments and details of each surgery patient onto the Office Calendar
• Following up with all up-coming surgery patient’s with labs, insurance approvals, medical clearance, ekg, etc. (special cases if any with follow up with the surgery center)
• Ordering all surgical product needed for surgery, double checking if we always have supplies necessary for surgery.
• Making sure to monitor Hospital/Facility Calendar (releasing time before the deadline if we are not utilizing our surgery time)

The position primarily reports to the Practice Manager. This is a position that acts as an important link between patients and treatment providers, as well as staff members, so you will be working closely with every member of the office on some level.
