Transmasculine and Nonbinary individuals can sometimes feel a sense of incongruence with their natal genitalia–meaning the genitalia that they were born with. This feeling is frequently referred to as bottom dysphoria, and influences how trans-masculine people move through the world. Some patients express that these feelings are particularly distressing in moments of intimacy or while using the bathroom.
